KIDSjumpTECH in collaboration with the Angels Reach Foundation and Trinity Christian Academy, has scheduled a summer camp (Jun 12, 2024 -Aug 12, 2024) utilizing our technologies for families with children and adults with special needs. To help families become more familiar with our products and the summer camp program, we hosted an open house in our showroom.
The following KIDSjumpTECH equipment was available in а trinity Christian Academy:
Interactive Wall
Interactive Floor
Interactive Sandbox
Children drew, played soccer/basketball and other active games, learned about geology and science, developed social skills, and solved interesting tasks in an interactive format.
The event was well attended by numerous families, and some parents agreed to give us interviews.
Do you have children with special needs?
My boys (oldest 16 and youngest 9) are diagnosed with autism and ADHD.
How do smartphones and technology affect your kids?
My oldest is 16, and even though he has autism, he’s a teenager and has a strong connection to phones and his tablet. However this system, this interactive dynamic that I was introduced to; keeps them actively engaged. It will probably even take away the need for the other devices. To make it even better, we can implement games that they already enjoy and make them educational.
Do you have children with special needs?
I have three children, but of the three, I have two diagnosed kids. I have one with Asperger’s and another with ADHD and Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD) and Alzheimer’s, imagine that.
What do you notice about KidsJumpTech interactive technology?
I saw how concentrated he was. I saw how he simply let go of everything he had and focused on playing. It seemed very curious to me because they are games that are overall very dynamic, very educational, and full of learning. I’m very happy.
In fact, I came with my little daughter as well, who is only five years old, and she was playing a lot with Samba, being very interactive. Well, my other son is 13 years old, so imagine, if a 13-year-old managed to concentrate and have fun – that says something. The number of educational games they have ranges from activities for little kids to teenagers, so it seems to me that it is very interactive and dynamic.
How does KidsJumpTech gameplay differ from other styles of gameplay you’ve seen before?
Here, barriers are broken. I say this because there is integration. You can play. There can be young people with a diagnosis, as well as those who do not have a diagnosis. So, I see that there is a great possibility that in the field, they can unite and simply not even notice it. And that label doesn’t exist.
You realize that families can play with other families in the same space. That is wonderful. What I see is that practically in one game, there can be a class of what we usually experience in about forty-five minutes. In twenty minutes they can easily, or even in less, five minutes, acquire the knowledge, but also create a bond between them. As a mom, I feel super honored.
